Message from the president
Dear Members,
It is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I address you as the President of the Association of Ex-Planters Sri Lanka for the year 2026/2027.
I sincerely thank you for the confidence and trust you have placed in me. I look forward to serving our Association with dedication, transparency, and commitment.
I also extend my warmest congratulations to the newly elected Executive Committee for 2026/2027. I wish each member every success in their respective roles as we work together to strengthen our Association, enhance member engagement, and uphold the proud traditions and values of the plantation fraternity.
Our Association continues to grow because of the support and active participation of its members. I therefore encourage every member to stay connected through our official website and WhatsApp platforms, where you will find the latest news, upcoming events, announcements, membership information, photographs, and other important updates. By keeping connected, you will remain informed and actively engaged in all Association activities.
I also earnestly request all members who have not yet enrolled in our Death Donation Fund (DDF) to do so at the earliest opportunity. This fund has been established to provide timely financial assistance and support to the families of our members during times of bereavement. Your participation strengthens this valuable welfare initiative and demonstrates our commitment to caring for one another as one family.
Further, I strongly encourage every eligible member to enroll in the Association's Medical Insurance Scheme, operated through the Sir Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC). This is one of the unique benefits offered by our Association and is among the very few medical insurance schemes available that provides coverage up to the age of 90 years. At a time when healthcare costs continue to rise, this scheme offers valuable financial protection and peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
I would also like to invite all Ordinary Members to take advantage of the special concessionary rate currently being offered to become Life Members of the Association.This is a limited-time opportunity to make a lifelong commitment to our Association while enjoying the privileges and security of Life Membership.
